Documents and AI Features

PageFold may process document content, selected text, notes, and chat messages to provide reading, search, annotation, and AI chat features. This processing may include sending relevant content to service providers that help operate these features.

PageFold Pro

PageFold may offer a paid Pro plan with additional features or higher usage limits. Purchases and subscriptions are handled through the App Store. We may receive and store subscription status, product identifiers, transaction identifiers, renewal information, and related entitlement details so we can provide Pro features.

We do not receive your full payment card information from Apple. Subscription billing, cancellation, refunds, and payment details are managed through your Apple ID and App Store account settings.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve PageFold.
• Authenticate accounts and manage access to the service.
• Store and sync documents, annotations, notes, and chat history.
• Process Pro plan entitlements and subscription status.

How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate PageFold, such as hosting, authentication, analytics, diagnostics, payment entitlement, and AI processing providers. These providers are authorized to use information only as needed to provide services to us.

We may also share information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of users or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide PageFold, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and how it is used.

Your Choices

You may be able to delete documents, notes, and other content within the app. You can manage or cancel Pro subscriptions in your App Store account settings. You can also contact us to ask about access, correction, or deletion options available for your account information.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

PageFold is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.
